The new hybrid system developed by Denvelops transforms architectural metal mesh into dynamic, sustainable, and visually active surfaces capable of reducing solar incidence and wind loads while introducing a new architectural language for both façades and interior cladding.

Denvelops presents the new Hybrid Metal Mesh, a patented global innovation for sustainable and dynamic façades and interior cladding.
The new technology developed by Denvelops revolutionizes architectural metal mesh through a more efficient, ecological, and visually dynamic hybrid system capable of reducing solar incidence and wind loads without modifying existing construction systems.
Denvelops has developed a new generation of architectural mesh called “Hybrid Metal Mesh,” an innovative and globally patented solution that redefines the behavior of traditional metal façades. The system was created in response to the growing demand from architects and designers for solutions capable of improving building energy efficiency while offering new creative possibilities in contemporary architecture.

The main innovation lies in replacing the traditional wavy patterns of metal mesh with new flat-profile patterns of greater height, capable of acting as integrated solar shades within the metallic fabric itself. Thanks to this hybrid configuration, the new meshes significantly reduce solar exposure on façades, decrease wind loads, and simultaneously increase visual permeability between interior and exterior spaces.
Beyond its technical performance, the system opens up new aesthetic and compositional possibilities. The new flat patterns can be manufactured in multiple geometries, materials, and colors, enabling the development of fully customized designs tailored to each architectural project. This creative freedom turns Hybrid Metal Mesh into an innovative tool for designing unique, dynamic, and visually evolving façades.
The technology also offers enormous potential for interior design, introducing a new architectural language in cladding, space dividers, and decorative solutions with high aesthetic value. Thanks to their dynamic reflections, transparency, and changing light effects, Hybrid Metal Mesh systems allow the creation of more sensory, technological, and contemporary interiors, introducing surfaces capable of visually transforming spaces according to light conditions and the viewer’s perspective.

Another key aspect of the technology is that the innovation does not alter existing construction systems. The new flat patterns maintain the mechanical performance of traditional meshes and can be easily integrated into current systems, enabling rapid implementation in real-world projects without the need to modify anchors or standard structural solutions.
The system also allows the combination of traditional and flat patterns within the same mesh, enabling hybrid solutions where solar-control areas are positioned only in front of windows or strategic areas of the building. This adaptability optimizes both the building’s energy performance and the final façade cost.
From a visual perspective, the new Hybrid Metal Mesh generates unprecedented reflections and light effects on architectural façades. Depending on the geometry and orientation of the patterns, the surface can behave like a kinetic façade capable of visually changing with the observer’s movement and the incidence of light, creating effects similar to water surfaces or dynamic moving skins.
The new meshes are custom-manufactured for each project and can be produced in large formats, with widths of up to 230 cm. The system is designed for applications in corporate architecture, public buildings, energy retrofitting, interior design, and next-generation architectural envelopes.
